Premium daytime studio masterclass - 12–5pm
A relaxed, five-hour painting experience with buffet lunch included.
Please allow until 6pm when booking parking, as sessions occasionally overrun while everyone adds the finishing touches to their paintings.
Saturday 5th September - Pet Portraits: Paint Your Favourite Furry Friend
The example shown is one of my mixed-media pet portraits. In this workshop we’ll be creating this expressive style using mixed-media to start, and then finishing with acrylic paints.
Spend the afternoon painting the pet who means the world to you. Whether they're a mischievous dog, curious cat, beloved rabbit or feathered friend, you'll create a portrait that's full of personality using your favourite photograph as inspiration.
Before the workshop, I'll personally prepare your reference photo and print everything ready for you.
Whether you're a complete beginner or paint regularly, I'll guide you step by step in a relaxed, encouraging environment, so you leave with a portrait you'll genuinely be proud to frame.
It’s relaxed, supportive, and perfect for beginners or anyone who wants a creative day with meaning.
Lunch is included, and you’ll have plenty of time to work at your own pace.
Expect:
– A relaxed, inspiring studio setting
– Personalised guidance throughout the day
– Help capturing your pet's likeness with the initial sketch
– Introduction to mixed-media including: acrylic inks, pastels and more
– Learn techniques for fur, markings, eyes, and character
– All materials provided
– Buffet-style lunch from Brew Coffee Bar (please let me know of any dietary requirements)
– BYOB if you’d like an alcoholic drink
Please send me a clear digital photo of your pet in advance so I can print it for us to work from on the day.
