Welcome to Lauren Hawkins Artist. By purchasing artwork, booking a workshop, commissioning a piece, or using this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases, bookings, commissions, and interactions made through Lauren Hawkins Artist, including via the website, email, social media, or in-person events.

Lauren Hawkins Artist reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

2. Original Artwork & Commissions

Artistic Style

By purchasing or commissioning artwork from Lauren Hawkins Artist, you acknowledge that you are investing in Lauren’s individual artistic style and interpretation.

Exact photographic replication or complete realism is not guaranteed.

Reference Images

Clients commissioning artwork must provide clear, high-quality reference images. The final artwork will be created using the supplied references alongside artistic interpretation at the discretion of the artist.

Payment

Full payment, or a non-refundable deposit where agreed, is required before work begins on commissioned work.

Revisions

Minor adjustments may be possible during the early stages of a commission. Significant revisions, additional subjects, or major changes may incur additional fees.

Completion Times

Estimated completion times are provided as a guide only and may vary depending on workload, drying times, exhibitions, travel, illness, or unforeseen circumstances.

Copyright

All artwork remains the intellectual property of Lauren Hawkins Artist unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Artwork may not be reproduced, altered, copied, resold commercially, or used for merchandise, NFTs, AI training, advertising, or promotional purposes without written permission.

Lauren Hawkins Artist retains the right to photograph and share commissioned and sold artwork for portfolio, exhibition, website, and social media purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Workshops & Events

Bookings

Workshop tickets are strictly non-refundable unless Lauren Hawkins Artist or the venue has to cancel the event.

Transfers

Tickets may be transferred to a future session for a £10 administration fee provided:

  • At least 7 days’ notice is given before the original event date

  • 14 days’ notice is given for masterclasses

  • Transfers are only permitted once per booking

Alternatively, tickets may be gifted or privately resold to another attendee. Lauren Hawkins Artist must be informed of the new attendee’s name and contact details at least 48 hours before the event.

Age Restrictions

Unless otherwise stated, workshops are intended for participants aged 18 and over.

Materials & Clothing

Acrylic paints and mixed media materials may stain clothing and personal belongings. Participants attend workshops at their own risk and are advised to wear suitable clothing.

Behaviour

Lauren Hawkins Artist reserves the right to refuse entry or remove attendees behaving in a disruptive, abusive, unsafe, or inappropriate manner. Refunds will not be issued in these circumstances.

Event Changes

Occasionally, workshop dates, venues, timings, or session content may need to change due to circumstances outside reasonable control.

If Lauren Hawkins Artist cancels an event, attendees will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or

  • Transfer to another session

4. Website & Product Information

Every effort is made to ensure website information, pricing, images, and availability are accurate.

However:

  • Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings

  • Handmade artwork may contain natural texture variations and imperfections

  • Product dimensions and framing details should always be checked carefully before purchase

Lauren Hawkins Artist reserves the right to correct errors, update pricing, withdraw products, or cancel orders where necessary.

5. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lauren Hawkins Artist shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Delays outside reasonable control

  • Damage caused by misuse or improper handling of artwork after delivery

  • Losses caused by third-party courier delays or disruptions

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes rights provided under UK consumer law.

6. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
