The Artist

Lauren Hawkins is a contemporary mixed media artist based in Berkshire, UK, creating cinematic paintings that explore feeling, place, and identity.

Her work blends expressive portraiture, figurative studies, and urban landscapes to capture the emotional imprint of a moment - the way a city lingers in memory, the way a woman carries both softness and strength, the way beauty and chaos can exist at the same time.

Working intuitively in layers of charcoal, collage, spray paint, acrylic, and oil, Lauren creates pieces rich in texture, movement, and contrast. Her process is both raw and deliberate; balancing spontaneity with structure to create work that feels alive, imperfect, and human.

Through her current collection, Soul of Place, Lauren explores the relationship between people and places - how they are shaped emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Her paintings are often both romantic and melancholic, bold yet vulnerable; inviting the viewer to pause, feel deeply, and find pieces of themselves within the work.

At the core, Lauren’s art is about becoming.
About embracing contradiction.
About finding strength in vulnerability.
And about romanticising life’s quiet intimate moments.

From Lauren:

I create to make people feel. To honour emotion, romanticise memory, and turn fleeting moments into something that lasts.

Thank you for being here - whether you’re a follower, a client, or a collector. I hope you leave every interaction with my brand feeling a little more inspired than you did before.

All my love,
