Paint and 'Shake with Lauren - Bracknell

£40.00

🦊🐹 Time for a CREATIVE half term! 🍁🎃

Looking for something creative, engaging, and skill-building for your child this half term?

Join me, your local Bracknell artist, in my working studio at Easthampstead Works for a series of inspiring art workshops where children will learn real painting techniques in a fun, relaxed environment – with a tasty milkshake and packed lunch included! 🎨🥤

Each 3-hour session is uniquely themed, giving your child the chance to explore different techniques through a few colourful themed workshops. They'll choose their reference image on the day and create their own painting, ready to be framed and proudly displayed at home!

Workshop Dates & Themes:

Monday 27th October, 12–3pm
🦉 Whiskers & Woodland: Painting Forest Friends
Think toadstools, autumn leaves, and furry companions — we’ll bring woodland creatures to life with textured brushstrokes, warm autumn tones, and heaps of personality.

Wednesday 29th October, 12–3pm
🍂 Autumn Pathways: Landscapes of the Season
Golden trees, cosy skies, crunchy leaves — paint the magic of autumn and capture the season’s colours in your own glowing pathway scene.

Friday 31st October, 12–3pm
🎃 Pumpkin Patch: Design Your Own Spooky Squash
From cute to creepy, patterned to painterly — create a pumpkin that’s totally your own. Bold colours, quirky designs, and all the Halloween fun (without the mess of carving!).

What's Included:

  • A guided painting session with a professional artist (me!)

  • A finished acrylic painting to take home, ready to frame

  • All materials provided

  • A tasty mid-session break to refuel, featuring a yummy milkshake and packed lunchbox from Brew Coffee Bar (you’ll receive a pre-order form to choose your milkshake and sandwich flavour before the event)

  • A safe, supportive environment where creativity and individuality are encouraged

Location: My studio at Easthampstead Works, Bracknell – a light-filled, inspiring space where real art is made. Full address and details will be emailed prior to the session.

Limited Spaces:

Each session is limited to just 8 children, so everyone gets individual guidance and plenty of room to create. These workshops are perfect for building confidence, learning real art skills, and having fun while making something truly special.

Important Notes (Please Read Before Booking):

To help ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all:

  • Please only enrol your child if you feel they’ll be comfortable and able to stay engaged for the full 3-hour session. These workshops are relaxed and fun, but do involve focused creative time and group instruction.

  • Children must be aged 8 or over. (Older siblings are welcome if happy to join a younger group.)

  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, as spaces are limited and workshops are tailored to the number of participants.

  • We’ll be using artist-quality acrylic paint, which can stain – please make sure your child wears clothes suitable for creative mess!

  • Packed lunch includes: Choice of ham, jam or cheese sandwich on brown or white bread, bag of crisps, piece of fruit, small chocolate bar, babybel & choice of drink (apple or orange juice or orange or blackcurrant fruit shoot) - pre-order forms will be sent to you prior to the event

You’ll be asked to confirm these points during booking via simple checkboxes.

Parents are welcome to stay on-site - there is a lovely coffee shop downstairs, and ample parking nearby.

I will take your contact information should you wish to leave the premises.

Basic DBS certificate can be provided upon request.

Per session, I am taking a maximum of 8 students so please book now to avoid disappointment. The booking process will work on a first come, first served basis.
