Sat 30th May – Sakura Dreams: A Japanese Landscape Painting Masterclass
Create a cinematic Japanese-inspired landscape using layered mixed media and acrylic.
You’ll begin with an expressive mixed-media underpainting, building texture, movement, and atmosphere. After lunch, we’ll develop the piece using acrylic paint to refine structure, depth, and detail - bringing everything together into a finished, ready-to-frame Japanese landscape.
A selection of reference imagery will be available on the day, so you can choose a composition that resonates with you.
No drawing experience needed. I’ll help you map out your composition at the start - and if you’d prefer, I can sketch the foundation for you so you can focus fully on painting.
This is a calm, focused studio session designed to help you slow down, learn something new, and create a piece you’re genuinely proud of.
